Its a sad reality. I have seen this video too, and it sickened me to my core. Disciplining your child is one thing, but this is straight up physical abuse.

also, I wouldnt say you are an adult. You are on your way, but not quite there yet. :p

Oooh la laa... Wat do we have here?
Here i was looking for a good article to read and i find this little uncut gem..
Thought provoking... Although clearly not everyones cup of tea...

Throw something like this at the profanum vulgus n watch the hounds shred it to pieces..

Although my dignified frnd Shaf (if i may be so bold) i wouldnt generalise that much... Men, as you say and i agree to a point, are homophobic and cant stand scenes of MSM sex... Im also intrigued by the fact that you note the ritualistic 'soatu beyluvun' on picnics.. Which is not seen as 'firihen kulhi' or "gay" by these same individuals who will not be seen within 10 miles of a gay porn.. And you note that Women or Girls rather dnt engage in such behaviour...
May i here note that, men dnt generally or habitually undress or get dressed infront of other male frnds either (with partial or complete nudity).. Grls tell me, its a matter of closeness and comfort.. although interesting, ive never had the time to delve too deep into that topic with a girl..
Also, when you note the ritual of soatu beyluvun, most men and i repeat MOST men... dnt regard that as with any semblance of sexuality... its more rooted in juvenile fun and mocking or just plain old bullying...

Be as it may, i believe its more a matter of perception than anything else... Someone who is homophobic can have lots of reasons for that, ranging from religious standpoint to sexual confidence..
Going out on a limb, im increasingly starting to believe that there is no such thing as definitive sexual orientation for women bt rather a fluid transitional orientation... the same could be said for some men, although it seems more apparent in women.. Most women are in limbo and this tends to contribute highly to their tolerance and acceptance of the whole LGBT scene...

Although Shaf, for curiousity sake, take a look at Journal of Abnormal Psychology, 3, 440-445.. Your looking for a study by Adams, Wright, & Lohr in 1996... Google it.. And read through... If you havent already, youll like it...

And the lad who commented on the STI/STD stat from WHO and UNAIDS, thats just plain old misdirection...
If the Zealots think that curbing/banning sex and sinning will cure the world and make it all bright sparkly and sunny, you only need to look at Victorian Era Europe and the subsequent prophetic emergence of Donatien Alphonse Francois, better known as the Marquis De Sade...

If women can be affectionate towards their other women friends, why can't men too? There is no natural law that men cannot be physically intimate with their male friends without any sexual interaction.

We are not used to seeing images of men being intimate with men. That's why society still has a difficulty in accepting both homosexuality and physical intimacy among men without sex.

And come to think of it: lesbianism is a male fantasy so culturally it's approved and so it seems normal to both men and women when women have physical intimacy with their women friends without sex.

Come on, we should now all reaslise that we find it odd when "Bangaalhees" hold hands because our traditions and culture and ways of looking at things is responsible for creating this inherent bias and prejudice against homosexuality and physical intimacy between men.

As right-thinking and enlightened human beings, we should be able to rise above such prejudices. I don't care what Russell Peters or any homophobic man or homophobic woman thinks.
