It’s been 5 days and all I know is that nothing is new. The usual Maldivians and their imprudent behaviour. Yeah yeah, I’ve got ranting to do. So?
One of the first things that I noticed was this message I got after I sent a ‘Call Me Back’ message to a friend. “Your request has been sent. You can send 9 more request today – from Dhiraagu ‘Call Me Back’ Service.” And I went, what! EXCUSE ME?! 9 more messages?! The service got limited too? Come on! It was free websms at first which got limited and now this too? Frick!
When would these uncultivated brains learn? When would they stop misusing free services provided for our own benefits? So Dhiraagu introduces free websms’s years ago, but then flooding was obviously inevitable. So did the same result rise from the unlimited ‘Call Me Back’ service. Maldivians would always find a way to limit themselves. The more uncivilised you become the more does the steps you take forwards go backwards.
Really, why misuse these simple stuff that’s offered for our own benefits? Can’t we be more mature and literate on such issues and NOT use such for silly reasons like flooding the cell phone of a friend/colleague who went to meet a girl or a boy just for the heck of it?
And then comes the part where you blame it on the operator. Doesn’t mean that all the issues of the provider are error free, but, it always starts at zero eh? It takes time to develop. Anything would. But do we have to make it more complicated? Misuse it, corrupt it, exploit it and finally make it limited. Bleh!

Lovin’ the colours, dahlin’. Red has always been you.
Welcome to Male’, where everyone knows your name and you’re never glad you came. I say we go Cambodia.
.mini: YEAH!!! *rant rant rant*
MJ: Ahh, I changed it since you people said the “orange” wasn’t me. Guess this template suits me.
And yeah, Male’ sucks, in a specific kinda way. Everyones knows you and judges you before they know the real you. :S
You’re right… just typical maldivians.. always judge before they know …
Nish,
Its funny that you start with “Typical Maldivians” and ends up complaining about them being judgemental assholes.
Think about it, you start by judging – you may have a rationale for doing so – and ends up whining about someone else doing the same.
You people (yes, you, you, you and you; i.e. everyone commented on this, so far) remind me of the discussion australopithecus had with Dragonfly about hypocrisy.
wow..
im with u on this one two:) ( as if use an dhiraagu sim ) lol anyways what the heck.
The whole post is dedicated to the f*king lazy bones who tries to eat everything for their own benefits.
Why for what did they limit the call me back sms.. :S
So it was free and cant it be free and unlimited too?
Fricking nut crackers..
Anyways Zoe nice post!!
quite true…..
well, previously it was miss calls from pre-paid owners…now call me backs…why do u even bother to have a phone, if u can’t make ur own calls from it…..stupid !
by the way….zoe, i LOVE the template now…hehehe….as the others said…it’s very you….
Errr… thanks?
Hehe…
Yey…
Anyway, I took my time changing templates.
Mobile Operator should have think abt this before activating this service to all. otherwise we do not have any solution for such things… or use a 3rd party mobile application to block the sms
. I’ve seen this service from some other countries too.. its posible to send a single notice instead an sms…
note: I’m not saying ppl hav to do this in every sec.. but “hakuru boa mee haa hakuru ves bonee dhoa”?
